Kenya Sports filmfest to host ‘The Yellow Tale’

The Kenya International Sports Film Festival (KISFF) has been scheduled to host Iranian documentary movie ‘The Yellow Tale’.

Directed by Mohammad Abedi, the Iranian documentary film will be among the 40 titles to screen at the fourth edition of the African film event.

While ‘The Yellow Tale’ will be one of the competition works of the event, it will be showcased for the public audience of the fest as well.

The film is a narrative of a German football team fans in Iran who talk about the importance and status that this team has in their lives. The tales of huge fanaticism that exists towards this football squad is pictured in this 73-minute film.

The international distribution and management of the film is done by Minerva Film Company directed by Elaheh Goudarzi.

The KISFF is an event that depicts the relationship that ties sports and films.

Leila Hosseini will be an Iranian jury member to attend this edition of the fest that is slated for October 28-31.
